Graphic Design
David designs print and electronic magazines, books, newsletters, marketing brochures, posters, websites, and other promotional materials. He tailors each project to your preferred style or suggests suitable possibilities, with an emphasis on inventive, well-crafted typography.

Art Direction
David develops the look and feel for a corporate identity, product identity, book series, or promotional package, and will art direct the creation of the custom art or photos you envision.

Production
ImageSmythe has extensive production experience to see your project through layout, proofing/correction, to delivery via traditional offset or short-run digital printers or via electronic means. (Printers love ImageSmythe files because they work well every time!)

Consulting
David helped several professional photographers leap from film to digital studios. He creates custom page-layout templates for clients’ ongoing use, and he troubleshoots computer setups and software selection and installation.

Training
An adjunct faculty member at Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), David teaches Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Lightroom. He also conducts customized training for individuals and organizations about design, typography, and both print and digital production.
